The University of Nebraska Technology Park and Cabela’s hosted the eleventh annual golf scramble on June 11 at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln. More than 15 companies and 100 golfers participated in the event.
“It is a great opportunity to get away from the job,” said Sampson Project Manager Bret Alber. “The atmosphere is relaxing, and it is a chance to network while golfing with others.”
Lunch, dinner and golf carts were provided. At each of the 18 holes, a sign was posted featuring a contest challenge provided by a sponsoring company. After the winners of each hole were determined, golfers received prizes ranging from golf balls to Husker football tickets.
“On behalf of the University of Nebraska Technology Park, I would like to thank all of the participants who came to this event,” said Stephen Frayser, president of the Technology Park. “It was wonderful to see such a great turnout of some of Lincoln’s best business men and women.”
