Company Spotlight: CSI a good fit, growing in park

Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) was founded in 1965; today the company serves over 6,000 clients in 22 states and is recognized as an industry leader in service and software solutions for financial institutions and corporate entities. Headquartered in Paducah, Ky., CSI has 22 data centers around the country, including the office at the University of Nebraska Technology Park. CSI came to the Tech Park in 2006, and it was the first time in five years all the employees of the Nebraska branch had been located in the same facility. According to Mary Jo Hill, regional vice president, the park’s numerous amenities have been a big draw for employees.
“We have several employees who take advantage of the trail,” she said. “We love the facility. It’s safe and clean, a big benefit.” The new YMCA in the area is also causing something of a stir among the 60 CSI employees who work in the park, several of whom plan on investing in memberships now that the facility is located so near to the office. Hill says the park facilities have been a big asset to her branch, and a great place to work.

CSI has a unique customer service philosophy and prides itself on ethical and honest work, something Hill says she is most proud of about the company. New employees learn right away during orientation that CSI holds itself to a higher standard. Account managers are located close to the banks they serve in order to provide the exceptional service CSI is known for in the industry. The Nebraska branch is unique, also, due to a high level of server knowledge. The individual in charge of the server team is based in Lincoln, which Hill says is a big advantage for her branch.
“He finds a lot of talent in Lincoln,” she said.

CSI is changing quickly, acquiring other companies and growing fast. The CSI of today may look very different in a few years.
