Advantageous Resources

The Technology Park is based upon the development of strong working relationships between tenants and the University of Nebraska. The following university services are available to park tenants:

  • Access to faculty and staff on a consultative basis;
  • Access to graduate and undergraduate students through internships and co-op arrangements.
  • Access to university proprietary technology and intellectual property;
  • Contractual use of university owned scientific, engineering and computing equipment;
  • Access to core facilities such as the fermentation plant within the Food Processing Center or core research facilities associated with the Beadle Center for Biomaterials Research;
  • Access to the university library system including the patent repository at Love Library;
  • The University of Nebraska will offer to undertake collaborative or joint research with park tenants, including proprietary research fully protected by nondisclosure agreements.

The university has a number of centers and other research organizations that will be available to park tenants. University-wide centers include:

  • Center for Biological Chemistry
  • Center for Biotechnology (DNA sequencing, DNA synthesis, flow cytometry, fermentation, monoclonal/polyclonal antibody, protein and NMR facilities)
  • Center for Communication and Information Sciences
  • Center for Electro-Optics
  • Center for Infrastructure Research
  • Center for International Trade Policy
  • Center for Laser-Analytic Research and Analysis (Crystallography, materials preparation, optical and magnetic resonance spectrology, X-ray materials characterization, electron microscopy, and helium liquefaction facilities)
  • Center for Microelectronic and Optical Materials Research
  • Center for Nontraditional Manufacturing Research
  • The Gallup Research Center
  • Center for Water Science/Environmental programs
