Incubator Graduates
A goal of the University of Nebraska Technology Park’s business incubator program is to provide the resources necessary for tenant companies to develop to the point they no longer require incubator services. Once the companies have “graduated” from the incubator, one option is to move into office space within the Tech Park.
The following list contains the names of those companies that have successfully graduated from the incubator program and are continuing their growth outside of the TDC building.
Covalent Technologies
A software company providing e-commerce solutions and encryption software for the Apache Web server platform. Covalent develops commercial software enhancements for Apache and is the only source of full commercial support for the Apache Web server.
Founded in 1994, Covalent is the first graduate from our incubator program. In 1999, they moved out of the TDC building after securing $5 million in first round venture capital. H&Q Venture Associates led the funding round.

Consulting company catering to the information systems of financial institutions and custom designing their data processing needs
GeneSeek
DNA analysis company providing products and services to the biological science community in sequencing and typing of molecules.
GIS Workshop, Inc.
Geographic information system and satellite imagery consultants

This interactive information R&D company specializes in the strategic development of software, Internet, Intranet, and e-commerce solutions.
Ingenient Technologies
This division of Ingenient Technologies develops embedded software for implementation of digital signal processing application and does product engineering design.
MetaLogic
Development of interactive multi-media products and services.
Midwest MicroSystems
Software development company specializing in custom developed applications in beef cow herd management software, telecommunications, and other compatible projects.
Unident
Now a part of Eastman Kodak, Unident created software applications for the dental industry. Eastman Kodak provides management software for physician practices and healthcare enterprises, and is a leading provider of information systems for radiology practices, imaging centers, and anesthesiology practices.

An aggressive product development firm that offers development and support services for mechanical, electrical, and PCB product needs.
Specialized Networking Systems
A specialist in Ethernet and Token Ring network design services providing a secure environmentally controlled location for small business servers needing full Internet access.
